Located in the picturesque village of Hatfield Broad Oak, near Hatfield Forest—popular with local walkers and on a main route to Stansted Airport, our pub makes a perfect stop-off point for travellers to and from the airport.

Our family-run pub has been featured in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide for the past three years, so you can expect a good selection of high-quality real ales, alongside superb fine wines and spirits.

The building dates back to the 18th century when it was a coaching house, with parts of the original structure dating even further back to the 16th century. We also have a small seasonal garden with seating at the front and rear, where you can unwind, enjoy the views, and have a few drinks. Make us your starting and finishing point, and relax with a drink at the end of your day!
